To celebrate Buddha’s birthday, 100,000 colorful lanterns lit up the rainy night sky of Seoul, creating a wave of light. Despite the rain and wind that obscured the feeling of spring, the participants, each holding their lanterns, followed the procession of various grand lanterns with faces radiant with joy. The cheers from citizens and foreigners welcoming the parade never ceased.
