Attendance of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism
to the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara Supreme Patriarch of Thailand
on 16 December 2015
The Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism was invited by the Thai Government to attend the royal cremation ceremony organized
by the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Royal Thai Government together with the Supreme Sangha Council and
conducted at Wat Debsirindravas in Bangkok.
In the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, Ven. Seongmun, the Chairman of Central Council, Ven. Taehyo, the Director of Central
Council, Ven. Jihaeng, the assistant to the Chairman and one interpretor (Ms. MinHee Kim) attended as the Korean representatives.
We expressed our deepest condolescence on the demise of the Supreme Patriarch.
May he rest in the Ultimate Bliss.
