On February 17th, $100,000 was donated to Borisa Temple in Las Vegas(Abbot Ven. Hyeongjeon) for temple construction. The donor was a lay woman, Kwon Hof, who had been living a devout Buddhist life while running her own business for a long time.

The donation is designated for the construction fund of "Amitabha Village," a community for elderly Buddhists who harbor nostalgia and longing for their homeland in Korea. The donor, Ms. Kwon first joined the temple community in 2019 and planned for the donation in memory of her mother who passed away in 2023.

Ms. Kwon stated, "I hope that more Buddhists will join in, and that the long-cherished aspiration of Borisa Temple to establish Amitabha Village will come to fruition as soon as possible."
