On Feb. 19, Dalmasa Temple LA (abbot, Ven. Geumseon) donated $1,800 worth of goods to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC). Donations to secure the goods came from devotees’ participation fees for the 100-day Prayer Session during the winter meditation retreat, and for the 21-day Guardian Deities Prayer Session.

One temple devotee with the dharma name “Suyeonsim” shared her joy, saying, “With the Buddha’s Birthday coming in two months, we are very busy with diverse preparations. Still, our hearts are filled with joy from doing volunteer service activities.”

In addition, at the beginning of each year, Dalmasa Temple LA performs repentance practice and the lighting of candles for individual devotees.
