On August 27, Bohyun Buddha Temple & Zen Center in Dallas, led by Abbot Ven. Jiam, dedicated ceremonies to commemorate the conclusion of the 11th summer paramita practice group and the launch of the 12th autumn paramita practice group, which will last for 49 days. At the commencement ceremony, held together with the All Soul's Day rituals, participants pledged to cultivate wisdom and compassion through the practice of the six paramitas.

Bohyun Buddhist College reopened on September 5 after temporarily suspending operations due to the pandemic. The college will use the Avatamsaka Sutra as the principal text to teach the basic doctrines, the path of Bodhisattva, and the doctrinal and Seon perspectives of the Bodhisattva path.
