Amid the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County, the Korean-American community is showing its support for the victims. On January 22, the Overseas Special District US Midwest Branch of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism delivered donations from its member temples to the Korean American Association of Los Angeles, which has been collecting and distributing emergency relief supplies.

Midwestern Branch temples participating in the campaign include Tahlmahsah Temple, Mountain Spirit Center, Diamond Zen Center, LA Anguk Zen Meditation Center, Borisa Zen Center, Hanmaum Seon Center of Los Angeles, and Providence Zen Center.
