Yeonkuksa

Yeonkuksa, established by Ven. Hyeyeong in 1983 in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York, initially operated from a residential building. After the passing of Ven. Hyeyeong in 1998, Yeonkuksa faced several challenges. However, after relocating to Flushing, it has become a stable refuge for Buddhists in search of spiritual solace. Yeonkuksa holds daily morning prayer sessions at 6 a.m. and organizes weekly Dharma talks on Buddhist philosophy every Tuesday. Additionally, the temple conducts Dharma services on Sundays, aiming to make Buddhism more accessible to the Korean-American community
