Munsusa, founded in 1992 by Ven. Dobeom, is the only Jogye Order temple in the Boston region. This temple plays a vital spiritual role within the Korean community, offering wisdom and guidance to many students from Korea. Its enthusiastic participation in the annual Independence Day parade is warmly received by the local community. Moreover, Munsusa hosts meditation and yoga programs for local middle and high school students every Saturday. It serves as a source of comfort and spiritual tranquility for the Korean community, international students, and visitors from Korea. Additionally, the temple operates a temple stay program to provide a refuge for individuals fatigued by modern life, offering stress relief programs.
