Established in 2012 in Annandale, Bubhwa Buddhist Temple is committed to propagating the teachings of the Buddha and providing a refuge for the hearts to the Korean immigrants facing life's challenges. The temple occupies the second floor of a building opposite the Korea Monitor. It conducts regular Sunday Dharma services, following the traditional Korean Buddhist style, and offers meditation sessions, prayer meetings, and spiritual guidance. On major holidays such as Seollal (Korean Lunar New Year) and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), the temple organizes joint ancestral rites and community meal-sharing events, nurturing a sense of mutual solace and support among the Buddhist community.
