Muyeum Zen Center

Muyeom Zen Center, founded in 2019, underwent a major relocation and reopening. This relocation was driven by an ardently practiced 100-day prayer ceremony. The center’s name "Muyeum" means “Nothing to be tainted,” and it pays homage to Master Muyeum, a prominent Buddhist figure from the United Silla period. Master Muyeum, an 8th-generation descendant of King Muyeol, joined the monastic sangha at Osaekseok-sa Temple in Mt. Seolak at the age of 13. Each Sunday, the center hosts a regular Dharma service, and this service is followed by the Kstigarbha ritual, dedicated to the memory of the deceased.
