Jingaksa (Templo Budista Coreano)

Jingaksa, originally known as Gwaneumsa, underwent a name change to Jingaksa in 1986. In 1988, the temple enshrined the Buddha Triad and held a plaque unveiling ceremony, subsequently completing its official registration with the government. The temple offers a range of activities, including Tuesday Seon meditation sessions for the Korean community, Saturday Seon meditation sessions catering to the local Brazilian residents, and Sunday Dharma services with an average participation of 15 individuals. Additionally, Jingaksa conducts 100-day prayer sessions twice a year, aligning with the summer and winter retreat seasons. In addition to its spiritual pursuits, Jingaksa actively promotes Korean traditional culture by hosting events such as tea ceremonies and lotus lantern-making sessions for the local community. The temple is regarded as a cultural center that warmly welcomes all individuals and serves as a place of devotion where the teachings of Buddha are practiced.
