Budismo Coreano Hanmaum Seonwon

Budismo Coreano Hanmaum Seonwon in Tucumán was established in 1991 with the ardent aspiration of local lay Buddhists who were deeply moved by the teachings of Master Daehaeng, who also actively supported the endeavor. The center hosts various annual events, such as New Year's candlelight rituals, celebrations for Buddha's Birthday with a lantern parade, and All Souls’ Day (Ullambane) rituals. Additionally, on September 24 each year, the center conducts ceremonies to honor those who lost their lives during the Argentine War of Liberation. They also regularly hold Saturday Dharma services with approximately 25 participants, along with youth Dharma services and Bodhisattva practice sessions. From 1987 to the early 1990s, Master Daehaeng emphasized the significance of international Buddhist centers in promoting world peace. She aimed to establish a foundation for world peace by teaching the essence of mind practice, with a particular focus on North America, where the establishment of overseas centers was actively pursued during that period.
