On April 26, Somdej Phra Maha Theerachan, abbot of Wat Pho and member of the Thai Supreme Sangha Council, met with Most Ven. Jinwoo, the President of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, and presented a donation of 100 million won to the Buddha for the Millennium Project. The meeting took place on the fourth floor of the Korean Buddhist History and Culture Memorial Hall in Seoul. In attendance were the director of the Cultural Affairs, Ven. Hyegong; the director of the Social Affairs Office, Ven. Jingyeong; and the abbot of Bogwangsa Temple, Ven. Hyeseong.
