On November 12, the Bodhiyana Buddhist Chaplain Fellowship (BBCF, CEO Ven. Mugu) held its second templestay at Koryesa Temple in Los Angeles (Abbot Ven. Myogyeong). Centered on the theme of “Sila (Observing the Precepts)”, Ven. Mugu personally taught U.S. lay Buddhists how to receive the precepts and integrate them into daily life.
Founded in 2022, BBCF is a nonprofit through which Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese Buddhists collaborate. Each year, it conducts ordination ceremonies and templestay programs for Americans, dedicating itself to Dharma propagation.
