For over a decade, New York Bulgwangsa Temple(Head Abbot Ven. Huigwang, Abbot Ven. Sunmun) has helped the local community during the year-end periods. On December 17th, they provided groceries and donations to the non-profit organization 'People to People' of the county. The temple has been actively engaging in poverty relief activities targeting low-income families and refugees residing in New York and Rockland County, totaling over 6,000 individuals.
