In early July, Chogyesa in New York launched the Film Makers Group, a filmmaking group for young Buddhists. Led by a Buddhist who served as a planning director at Samsung’s video business division, the group is building a network of young Buddhist filmmakers and preparing to produce a film about Korean Buddhism. The film will cover the history of Korean Seon Buddhism and its propagation by Master Seung Sahn in the United States.
