Dump,傾銷 [qīng xiāo] To throw out. To empty, to set aside.

You must be careful when putting things down. Otherwise, it could get damaged. When unloading a burden, you must do so properly. Otherwise, problems may arise later. Similarly, when ending a relationship, you must take great care to ensure that it doesn't turn into an even worse one.

Even if you are sincere and committed, the other person may not feel the same way. If that is the case, there is no need to force a separation. Simply recognize that the connection was meant to end, and let the relationship drift apart naturally. Allowing desire or pride to get in the way will only make your life that much harder.

When emptying your heart, sometimes you have to boldly discard what needs to go, just as you would slam down the lid of a bin to empty it properly. If you leave any lingering attachments, they can end up being worse than if you hadn't emptied your heart at all.

May peace be with you.
