The purpose of this paper is to examine the history of the digitization of sources for Korean studies, benefits from the Digital Tripit.aka Koreana 2004 (DTK 2004), the newest digitized version of the Goryeo daejanggyeong (Tripit.aka Koreana, TK), challenges to it, and future directions for it with regard to the study of East Asian Buddhism.
