Woori Temple was founded in Marina, California, in 2017. Three years later, it established its second temple on a spacious 10,000-square-meter site in Llano outside Los Angeles. The temple holds a monthly Dharma service and conducts Dharma assemblies on the first and third days of the lunar calendar, including the observance of All Soul's Day (Ullambane). Woori Temple is actively planning an expansion of its facilities, which will encompass the construction of a Buddha hall and dormitories.
