Founded in 2011 as the U.S. branch of Bongin-sa Temple in Korea, the Oneness Meditation Temple has instructed Korean international students in the United States about the Dharma. In 2018, the temple initiated a templestay and homestay program tailored to Korean students with extended stays in the U.S. However, starting in 2019, the temple transitioned its activities to the online realm. Notably, the temple now facilitates group activities like "Mind Quarantine," with its members convening twice a week for English-language meditation book readings.
